The registration fee does not cover any insurance (travel, medical, accident or liability). The NGM2023 organizers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by participants or accompanying persons or other persons during travel to and from the congress or during the congress. Participants of NGM2023 are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions.

The congress organizers will send a proof of registration as soon as the full registration fee has been received. The confirmation document will serve as your invitation letter when applying for the visa.
The organizer will assist applicants if needed in the visa application process. If you know you will be needing visa for your entry in Finland, please start the application process in good time.

Helsinki’s climate combines characteristics of both a maritime and a continental climate. The proximity of the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic creates cold weather, while the Gulf Stream brings in warmer air. Summer in Helsinki is bright. Days are at their longest in the second half of June, when the sun stays above the horizon for 19 hours. The evenings grow cool towards the end of September, and the days grow noticeably shorter as winter approaches. The crisp air is spiced with the colours of the splendid autumn foliage.
